Here’s a video of the process of the making of “The Cree lady from Waswanipi”
Painted for the Sabtuan Vocational Regional Training Center in November 2013.
This painting is a metaphore of the past knowledge and technics that Cree community
have developed through ages, in total harmony with their environment.
The role of the SVRTC is to offer good technical training for first nations to improve their skills in different types of jobs.
I want them to be proud of where they come from, as much as spiritually and technically.
For this vdeo, I used the great music of A Tribe called Red
Video of the painting I did in the Waswanipi with the cool kids of the High School and Joseph from Youth Fusion.
