Mistissini // HighSchool

During the begining of June, I was in the Cree Community of Mistissini
doing this mural in the Agora of the HighSchool with Cristina from Youthfusion and all the amazing talents that participated throughout the whole process.

Thanks to Kim Wapachee for her commitment, Morning-Star for her patience and great sense of detail, Hannah for her poem and Gavin Coon, Maria Brien, Angel Baribeau, Felicity, Kayton, Myles, David Long-Chap and Cristina for all their amazing work.

“I watch the moon because I miss the stars, I dream of land because of the water’s emptiness,
I’d rather be lost in jungle than alone at sea, but most of all I want to be free.”
