Fly as high as a Baba!!

20th of October 2011,

I spent some time in Pokhara…

since it is a great place to paraglide, and because I met some paragliders,

I did a wall at ”Paraport”, wich is a bar next to a landing zone, where people end their flight, and have a drink..

Thanks to all the paragliders I met and the team that works at Paraport!

Here you can see a Local Saddhu and “Bidessi Baba djie” flying together in the sky of Sarangkot

(the “take off” place up to Pokhara)

you can also see in the background the Machapuchare, the sacred mountain that looks like a shark teeth…

A few people tried to climb there and all died… so now it’s closed and considered as the home of gods.

Meet “Bidessi Baba djie”

Here’s my first wall in Nepal.

I called this character “Baba from the West” and translated in Nepali and Hindu it means ”Bidessi Baba Djie”

This old hobo, with his hat, wandering around East Canada hoping freight train has evolved to a new character…

Here, he is respected as a Saduh, you know, those ascetic wandering monks with dreadlocks smoking shiloms and praying Shiva…

that fits pretty well the character..

Here he is, with his little daughter that says Namaste to everybody.

Merry Christmas!
